The Oregon Crime Victims Law Center (OCVLC) is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization that advocates for crime victims to ensure that they are treated as integral parts of the criminal justice system.

We do this by providing:

  • no-cost direct legal representation to help crime victims assert their legal rights,
  • social-support services and referrals,
  • trainings regarding crime victims' rights to the public and to agencies and organizations whose employees and agents interact with crime victims.


Timing is everything!

Some of a crime victim’s legal rights are enforceable only if they are requested in advance. In addition, the violation of some rights cannot be remedied if the violation is not reported promptly.



        Contact our office if you: 

    • believe that your rights or the rights of a victim you know may have been violated;
    • are a crime victim who needs support services related to victimization; or
