The Oregon Crime Victims Law Center (OCVLC) is an organization whose mission it is to fight on behalf of crime victims to ensure that they and their rights are respected within the criminal justice system and by all criminal justice system partners. OCVLC attorney Yazmin Wadia represents survivor in landmark victims' rights case. 
May 30, 2018 
OCVLC Staff Attorney, Yazmin Wadia, represented domestic violence survivor Dana Parks. The Oregon Supreme Court ruled that Multnomah County Circuit Judge Kenneth Walker violated a crime victim's constitutional right to be heard when he prevented her from finishing her impact statement at the sentencing of her abuser.  Read the story here.
